The forgotten appointment, the missed deadline, the lost files… Details can seem trivial until you can’t find your car keys when you’re already running late.
Please don’t make the big mistake so many adults who have ADD make: because they are bored by details, they skip over suggestions on how to manage them. That is like driving through a stop sign because you are bored by traffic regulations. You can get killed.” from Delivered from Distraction
Even if you aren’t living with ADD, this is a superb reminder of the importance of having structures that help you manage the little things.
But it’s also said that God is in the details (and I expect you’ve had experiences of that in some way, just maybe not with your car keys). I think when you get your structures just right, you’ll find it is true much more often.
