Biz Manual – Day 1

This post is part of a series that began here. By sharing the daily development of my own operations manual I hope to illustrate how you might approach doing the same in your own business. Please follow along and share what you are doing to document your own systems and the challenges that come up along the way.

1. Added a tab for “social media” (Twitter, et al) [told ya’ they would change]

2. Added notepaper in front of binder for general notes.

3. Actually made notes re passwords (you don’t know how huge this is).

4. Had the presence of mind to date all my notes throughout the manual (aren’t I smart?)

5. System needed: regular back up/archiving of this blog (there’s good stuff in here I’d hate to lose).

6. Added spreadsheets with projected earnings for 2009 to Finance section.
