Something of an Experiment

I’ve just launched a new blog.  It will be documentation of an experiment I’ve been wanting to undertake for some time now.

I know from experience that focusing compassionate attention on what we are doing brings about desired changes in our lives.

The steps are simple and cyclical: observe, plan, test, adjust, observe. It works with time management* (more here).  It works with money management* (that’s another blog for another time perhaps). My assumption is it works with everything. As Merlin Mann says, “Awareness is the hack.”

So, it should work with weight management*, right? Well, I’m about to find out. If this is of interest to you, please come follow along.

* I don’t really mean management.  It’s about learning to relate to these things differently. It’s about your relationship with your time, your relationship with your money, your relationship with your body.
