I’ve had this postcard by Alaskan photographer Tom Sadowski for over twenty years (pinned on my bulletin board even now) and it still cracks me up.

When would these reasons be a yes for you? When would they be a no?

It’ll look good on your resume.
Think of the publicity.
You’ll learn something.
It’s for a good cause.
We’ll put you in the credits!
I’ll get you in with the people to know.
God gave you this gift, why are you selling it?

And on the back: “Hard working entrepreneurs are continuously bombarded with requests to do things for free. Find a bourgeoisie capitalist today and try one of these reasons on him – see how far you get. See if they have any good replies. Collect them. It’s fun!”

    That is awesome. How funny that nothing has changed! I love the random gestures and silly hats too.
